The Founder
Our Inspiration
Dr. Sharon Olori

Born from personal experience and a heartfelt desire to make a difference, our foundation emerged when our founder—both a dedicated doctor and a person living with Type 1 diabetes—witnessed firsthand the struggles of managing this condition. Inspired by real-life battles and the resilient spirit of our people, TOFHI was created to empower you to live your best life, diabetes and all.
Our Impact
- Education & Outreach: We have reached hundreds of families, offering vital education and hands-on support through community programs, workshops, and health screenings.
- Early Intervention: By identifying undiagnosed cases, we ensure early care and intervention, giving hope and a healthier future to those in need.
- Community & Support: Our safe, inclusive space encourages sharing, connection, and transformation—where every success story, from a child mastering diabetes management to an adult reclaiming control of their life, inspires us all.
Outreaches
Dr Sharon Speaks
"Through my clinical work and community outreach, I've encountered countless stories that have deepened my commitment to this cause. I'll never forget meeting thirteen-year-old Musa, whose blood sugar was dangerously high when he first came to one of our community outreaches. He was an orphan and his adopted family simply hadn't known the warning signs or had access to proper diabetes education. Seeing children like him, who is supposed to be full of life and robust, now sickly, thin and stunted, yet facing such serious health risks, reinforced why this work matters so much."
Our Driving Force
The Oboli Foundation for Health and Inclusion (TOFHI) is committed to transforming the lives of individuals and families affected by diabetes. We provide the support, education, and resources needed to empower people in managing diabetes with confidence. Through outreach, advocacy, and partnerships, we work to break down barriers to care, raise awareness, and build a supportive community where no one faces diabetes alone. Our mission is to create a future where everyone impacted by diabetes can live with health, dignity, and hope.
We envision a world where diabetes is understood, managed, and embraced with dignity. A world where people regardless of age, background, or resources—have the knowledge, care, and support to lead healthy lives. Our vision is a society where empathy, inclusion, and education form the foundation of diabetes care, and where every individual, along with their caregivers, is empowered to thrive, not just survive.
Joining the Oboli Foundation’s movement is about more than just supporting a cause—it’s about being part of a community that empowers individuals to live healthier, more fulfilling lives despite the challenges of diabetes. Together, we can break down the barriers of stigma, misinformation, and lack of resources. By joining us, you’re helping to build a world where diabetes isn’t something that isolates or defines us, but a condition that is managed with dignity, hope, and support. Your involvement could be the difference in someone’s journey to better health, and together, we can create lasting change in the lives of thousands.
